Music

music cover - albumI’m really excited about Myles Marlow’s new album, TUNE.

Not only do I find his first piece extremely creative — the way he successfully merges jazz, banjos, a “Motown-style” horn, synthesizers, wild electric guitar riffs — but the way he’s releasing his album is a first.

He’s giving away one song at a time every Monday for ten weeks via Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. No physical product to buy. Each song is free for listening and sharing via social media.

To me, a closet musician and artist, it’s wild and inspiring to see the end of creativity being locked in a basement or bedroom forever the way it was for many artists who became famous after their time.

The first song, Cruise Control was released this past Monday, January 24th. Go ahead and learn more about the album here and you’ll find links so you can receive notice of next Monday’s release.
